“Bottom line is, even if you see them coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does.
So, what are we, helpless? Puppets? Nah. The big moments are gonna come, you can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's
when you find out who you are." - Joss Whedon

Adoption Movies Night in Bellingham, WA - Tues, 12/3 from 5:30-8 pm

Please join us for the first monthly Adoption in the Movies Night

As you all know, adoption is a common theme in many movies and is not always presented in a positive, or realistic light.  And sometimes our kids see these movies and may need help processing and talking about what they saw. These movie nights will give adults a chance to watch some of the more popular movies and to talk about ways to help our children deal with their reactions to these films.

The movie nights will be facilitated by Kate Haskell.  Kate is an adoptive mom and a Child and Family therapist.  We will have time after the movies for discussion.
