FSA Sponsered Additional Adoption Education Opprotunities

The Seattle Chapter of Families Supporting Adoption is proud to announce that we will be implementing a FREE monthly Education Night for FSA members and non-members alike.  Classes will be held on the third Thursday of each month at the Renton LDSFS office from 7 – 8:30pm.  Each month will have a different topic and presenter and the hours will count toward your mandatory adoption education hours for placement as well as help to prepare you for adoption success. Here is a glance at the lineup of courses for the next couple of months: 
  • Thursday, March 17th, 2011 – “Networking: Making Your Adoption Happen,” by Shay Carl.
  • Thursday, April 21st, 2011 – “Adopting a Child with Special Needs,” by Kris Allen and Kelly Morgan.
More information on each class can be found on the Education page above.  We ask that you register for each class via email, providing FSA with your name and phone number, so that we can contact you if the class is canceled for any reason.
